Orem land-use agenda items

The city is considering a zoning map amendment for 9.29 acres at 1075 South 1675 West, changing from Controlled Manufacturing (CM) to Wolverine Flex Industrial Planned Development Zone (PD-56). A public hearing will be held to discuss the proposal.

The applicant is requesting approval of a preliminary plat for Funez Plat A, a two-lot subdivision, located at approximately 115 North 800 West in the R8 zone. The Planning Commission will consider the request and has approved the preliminary plat.

The City is proposing a text amendment to Section 17-3-2 of the Orem City Code, relating to Unlawful Subdivisions, to prohibit the creation of a lot that is located in more than one zone. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed text amendment.

Update city code definitions related to dwellings, accessory dwelling units, and accessory apartments. The city council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed text amendment.

Rezone 9.29 acres from Controlled Manufacturing (CM) to Light Manufacturing (M1) with a development agreement limiting uses to those in the CM Zone. The city council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed rezoning.

The Center for Women and Children in Crisis is requesting site plan approval for a development located approximately at 866 North 400 West. The Planning Commission will consider the site plan request at this meeting.
