About Utah Land-Use Radar

Utah Land-Use Radar finds land-use items on city council and planning commission agendas in Salt Lake County and Utah County and explains each one in plain English.

What we look for

Each item links to the agenda it came from. When the same project comes back to a later meeting, we group those appearances into one project page with a timeline.

Where the data comes from

Utah cities and towns post their meeting agendas on the Utah Public Notice Website (utah.gov/pmn). We check it daily for new agendas from the councils and planning commissions we cover.

AI summaries can be wrong

The summaries on this site are written by AI from the agenda text. They can misread an address, a parcel number, an applicant or what was decided, and they can miss items. Every item has a link to its source agenda: check it before you rely on anything here.

Not an official source

Utah Land-Use Radar is independent. It is not affiliated with the State of Utah or any city, town or county.
